Matthew scores a winning note!

Well done to Matthew in year 9, on becoming one of Royal Tunbridge Wells Symphony Orchestra's youngest players (aged 14).

Matthew plays the oboe, piano, saxophone and organ! He is hoping to start his performance diploma on the oboe next year, having passed his grade 8 last summer. At school Matthew also plays in various orchestras and ensembles including Big Band, Wind Band (where he plays tenor sax) and Symphony Orchestra (where he plays oboe). Outside of school Matthew plays in Kent Youth Wind Orchestra, Kent County Youth Orchestra and tenor sax in the Kent Youth Jazz Orchestra. A full profile about Matthew and more details about the Royal Tunbridge Wells Symphony Orchestra have been printed in 'The Score', the newsletter of the RTWSO.
