1954 60th Anniversary Reunion

Over the weekend of 5th & 6th September the school hosted the 1954 60th Anniversary Reunion. 14 OJ’s, together with their wives and partners, attended the weekend and for many, this was the first time they had met up since leaving school.

After an enjoyable afternoon touring the school site, a Reunion Dinner was held in the School Room, where the 1954 cohort presented the school with a beautiful wooden bench to mark the occasion.

Robert Masters, Headmaster, is quoted as saying:-   “This was a fantastic opportunity for OJ’s to reconnect both with each other and the school and hopefully this is the first of many OJ Reunions that the school will be hosting.”

Many thanks to the class of 1954 for attending the Reunion – many of whom travelled a very long way to be there!

If you would like more information about future Reunions or would like to discuss getting involved with organizing a similar event for your year group please contact Catherine Lupton in the Development & Alumni Office.
