Computer Science

Computer Science is becoming an increasingly important subject in modern careers which handle large amounts of data. Skills like computational thinking can complement data driven tasks. 

There will be opportunities for students to extend their practical knowledge by participating in competitive Computer Science challenges (ie. Bebras, Informatics Olympiad).

In Year 7, students receive one lesson per fortnight cycle on Computing, following the National Curriculum. This will extend to Year 8 from September 2021.
