Examination Timetables
Exams Contingency Day: Wednesday 26 June 2019
The exam boards have designated 26 June as a contingency day for GCSE and/or GCE examinations should sustained national or local disruption arise during the June 2019 examination series. Candidates must remain available until this date.

Examination Results Collection Summer 2019
A Level and Pre-U Thursday 15th August
Year 13 8:00am to 9:30am from Annexe (7:30am for those who have missed out on their university choices and need advice); collection from Student Reception from 9:30am
UCAS: What to do before Results Day and when you receive your A Level results
GCSE Thursday 22nd August
Year 11 8:00am to 10:00am; collection from Annexe. After 10:00am from Reception.
Appeals and Complaints
General complaints
For general complaints regarding the school's delivery or administration of a qualification please click on The Judd School Complaints and appeals procedure (exams).
Internal appeals
You can use The Judd School's internal appeals process for:
- appeals against the marks awarded for centre assessed work before the marks are submitted to the awarding body;
- appeals against the school's decision not to support a post-results review of moderation;
- appeals against the school's decision not to support an appeal against a post-results mark review outcome.
The Judd School Internal Appeals Procedure for 2018/2019 will be available soon.
Post-results Services
Following the issue of results, awarding bodies make the following post-results services available:
Access to scripts (ATS) and Enquiries about results (EARs)
Full details of these services, internal deadlines for requesting a service and fees charged will be available from the summer term.

Data Protection
The General Data Protection Regulation procedure for exams details how The Judd School, in relation to exams management and administration, ensures compliance with the regulations as set out by the Data Protection Act 2018 and General Data Protection Regulation.
Exams Information
Re-Sits
Available for current students and leavers
To apply for re-sits please click on the links below. Please download and print the attached form and complete and return it to the exams office. Payment must be made through Joinos. Deadline for re-sits is Friday 25th January 2019.
Private Entries
Current Students
If you are currently a student at The Judd School and wish to take an examination in a subject not offered here, please contact Mrs Dobra, the Examinations Officer. You will generally be able to sit the examination at The Judd School. You will have to pay for the examination, at the fee the Examination Board charges plus an administration fee.
The Examinations Officer will be happy to answer any queries and help to organise oral exams.
External Candidates
The Judd School does not normally accept external candidates who have no links with the school.
If you were formerly a student, please contact the Examinations Officer. If you wish to sit a subject with an Examinations Board that the school currently uses for the subject, then we are more likely to be able to accommodate you.
University Admission Tests
The following admission tests are held in the Autumn Term at school.
- University of Cambridge pre-interview assessments
- University of Oxford admissions tests
- BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT) – October/November
- Test of Mathematics for University Admission (TMUA)
- Mathematics Admissions Test (MAT).
Application forms will be available from early September and payment can be made through JOINOS.
