Introduction by the Chair
Welcome to the Judd Parents Association (JPA) web page. The committee consists of two co-Chairs, a Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and representatives from each of the six school Houses.
The committee, who are all volunteers, meet approximately six times a year on a Wednesday evening, usually at the school. Each House has a Rep and several assistant Reps.
The JPA has two key purposes;
- To provide a communication channel for the Judd community of parents and carers
- To support the school by raising funds for much needed non-capital equipment for various school departments
The JPA also supports a variety of school functions by organising refreshments for events such as parent evenings, open evenings and the annual music concerts.
JPA success is reliant on maintaining a steady stream of interest amongst parents and carers of Judd students. There are many ways you can help the JPA to support the school - at one of our fundraising events, such as the Christmas Fair, annual Quiz Night or the Football Fiesta, or by registering with Easyfundraising (choosing The Judd School as your good cause) to raise funds every time you shop online. Second-hand Uniform Shop
The JPA runs a very successful second-hand uniform shop which is open from 9.30am to 11.30am on the first Saturday of every month (excluding August). Where school holidays make opening difficult we sometimes move the date – please check below for the opening dates.
You can find us in the green container adjacent to the Sports fields. As you come into the School, turn left past the Sports Hall and you’ll find us at the bottom of the track.
Items to be donated for the shop should be clean, clearly marked as second hand uniform and handed in at Reception. Please note that we no longer sell shirts of any colour or plain colour v-neck jumpers. We do sell the School navy jumper with maroon trim.
