Alex secures prestigious scholarships
It is with great pleasure that we congratulate our Year 13 student Alex on securing the Organ scholarship at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle for next year, and then at St John’s College, Cambridge University for the year after!
For those not already aware, Alex was awarded the Organ Scholarship in Year 7, which is funded by the Governors of The Judd School. He has delighted us and the general public with his playing at many concerts over the years including one at Southwark Cathedral. When Alex reached Year 11 he also gained the prestigious award of Associateship of the Royal College of Organists.
