The governors have appointed Miss K Manktelow (Acting Assistant Headteacher) as Designated Safeguarding Lead; she is assisted by Ms A F Turnball (Deputy Headteacher), Mr C Burnie (Senior Leader - Key Stage 5), Mrs M Davey (Head of Student Support), Ms E Johnson (Pastoral Manager), Miss B Williamson (SENDCO), Mrs Z Baker (Head of Y13, RS Teacher) and Mr C Baker (Head of Y12, Music Teacher).

Parents/carers should be aware of all types of abuse, including Physical Abuse, Neglect, Sexual Abuse, Sexual Violence, Peer on Peer Abuse and also Emotional Abuse.
