Physical Education

The aim of the curriculum is a skills based approach, whilst building knowledge and understanding or activities whilst playing them. In key stage 3 basic skills are taught and practise and as pupils go through the school they learn and put them into practise in match scenarios or drills. As pupils go through the school they get more choices of the options they would like to become involved in.

The long term aim is for pupils to remain involved in a sport of their choice when they leave the school.
