We provide a diverse range of study and field trips which strengthen our classroom-based learning. These include European History trips; Classics tours of Italy; Geography fieldwork in Snowdonia and Biology fieldwork in Malham. Additionally, a variety of theatre and gallery visits, as well as local fieldwork are offered throughout the year. The Judd School participates successfully in many competitions in the various academic fields, often reaching finals at a national level. Opportunities are provided for pupils to participate in modern language exchanges and study trips to France, Germany and India.

Numerous co-curricular tours and expeditions within the areas of Music, Sport and Service enable students the chance to stretch themselves, learn new skills and compete at an international level. In previous years we have run European Music Tours; Rugby tours to South Africa and New Zealand; Cricket tours to Barbados; Cross Country training in Lanzarote and World Schools Cross Country Championships in Paris.

In Year 7 and Year 12 we run Induction programmes to encourage friendships and connections to be made. We have also taken part in the World Challenge Expedition to Borneo; ski trips to Canada and adventure trips to France, these have provided both fun and new or improved skills, as well as an opportunity to learn about other cultures.
