Royal Society of Chemistry Schools' Analyst Competition
Our Year 12 students annually engage in the prestigious Royal Society for Chemistry Schools’ Analyst Competition, hosted at Tonbridge School. This event is a fantastic opportunity for them to demonstrate and deepen their existing chemistry knowledge, hone their analytical skills, and showcase their aptitude for practical science. The challenges are always engaging, focusing on relevant societal or industrial problems through hands-on analytical experiments. This year, our students went head-to-head with teams from comparable West Kentschools, undertaking a series of analytical challenges that supported the Department for Housing. We are thrilled to announce that Abhay Chimmalgi, Joe Edwards, and Spencer Burgess emerged victorious from a group of 10 teams! This marks a historic first win for The Judd School in this competition. Well done to them all!
