County Champions at U18, U15 & U14 for 2023

The final week of fixtures culminated in a full block against our local rivals Skinners. The 1st XV won 25-21, winning the U18 Champions Cup and the U18 Kent Merit League three years in a row - 2021, 2022 and now 2023.

All the boys put in a great effort with fantastic results across the age groups. U12A won 40-15, U12B won 25-5, U12C won 50-0, U12D won 50-0, U13A won 35-0, U13B lost 10-15, U13C won 40-35, U13D won 50-45. U14A lost 7-12, U14B won 45-0, U14C drew 19-19. Our U15A drew 15-15, U15B lost 12-15, U16A won 13-5, U16B lost 5-24, our 3rd XV won 20-19 and the 2nd XV lost 7-8.

We have had the highest participation rates this year with 28 teams, 200 games and over 500 students representing the school. A special mention to our U15s who have progressed to the latter regional stages of the National Vase, to the U12's who are unbeaten in their first ever Judd season and finally, to our 3 students who have been involved in all three victories at U18 Kent Merit League, Angus, Fin and Frank.

Thank you to all the pupils, parents and teachers who help support and facilitate our Rugby Programme. We continue to be one of the leading rugby schools in Kent & the London & South East Region. We are the only National Cup team left from Kent, and we most regularly test ourselves out of the county, against some of the best schools around, in comparison to our competition. Hence, the strength of our fixture list as well as the support and coaching received both inside and outside of school, accounts for all our county successes this year.

Well done to the students for being so resilient, competitive, collaborative and enthusiastic and thank you especially to those teachers and parents that help us on Saturdays. Without you none of this would be possible.
