Success at the Science Snippets Grand Final
Last Wednesday, two of our students impressed judges and audience alike at the Science Snippets Grand Final, held at Tonbridge School. Over 20 students delivered engaging four-minute science presentations, with a panel of judges selecting the winners.
We are delighted to share that James (Y7) and Sai (Y8) were awarded first and second prize respectively in the Year 11 and below category.
James delivered an outstanding presentation on induced pluripotent stem cells—a talk that would rival many Sixth Form students in both scientific accuracy and clarity. His sleek slides, combined with a confident and fluent delivery, truly impressed the judges and earned him a well-deserved first place.
Sai’s presentation explored the benefits of eating with your hands, taking a scientific concept and making it both informative and highly entertaining. His poise and clear communication secured him a strong second place.
A huge congratulations to both students on this fantastic achievement!
