World Book Day 2024 - Prize Winners

Following World Book Day, where students would look at then review and rate a book out of ten. From the ten books in total which are all available to borrow now from the Library. We counted up the scores for each of the books and the results were as follows:

First place - "The Survival Game" by Nicky Singer

Second place - "More Than This" by Patrick Ness

Third place - "The Circle" by Dave Eggers

Also, prizes are to be awarded to the following students for writing the best reviews:

The event really gave students a chance to look at and discover new books that they might like to read and they thoroughly enjoyed it.

Finally, for World Book Day, there were book quizzes for students to complete and a £1 book voucher was given out to each student in Years 7 to 11. (If Sixth Formers would like a voucher, they are very welcome to come and collect one from the library.)
